## Connect the Tabler Icons MCP in three steps

Pick your tool, paste the block, and sign in once. Tabler is then searchable from wherever you are already working.

### Claude

Install the official Streamline connector from the Claude directory.

#### Step 1: Add the connector

Open Streamline in the Claude directory and click Connect.

[Add to Claude](https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/streamline-icons)

**Using Claude Code?**

Run this in your terminal, then run /mcp in Claude Code and pick streamline.

```
claude mcp add --transport http streamline https://public-api.streamlinehq.com/mcp
```

#### Step 2: Sign in

Sign in with your Streamline account to authorize access.

### Cursor

Install Streamline in Cursor with one click.

#### Step 1: Add the server

Click install to open Cursor and add the Streamline MCP.

[Install in Cursor](cursor://anysphere.cursor-deeplink/mcp/install?name=streamline&config=eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL3B1YmxpYy1hcGkuc3RyZWFtbGluZWhxLmNvbS9tY3AifQ%3D%3D)

**Prefer to add it manually?**

Add this to your \~/.cursor/mcp.json file.

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "streamline": {
      "url": "https://public-api.streamlinehq.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### Step 2: Sign in

Sign in with your Streamline account to authorize access.

### ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Plugins, then MCPs, and click Add Server. Fill the form with these three values.

#### Step 1: Fill the form

Name, type, and URL, exactly as below.

```
Name  Streamline
Type  Streamable HTTP
URL   https://public-api.streamlinehq.com/mcp
```

#### Step 2: Save and authenticate

Click Save, then click Authenticate and follow the steps.

### Antigravity

The Antigravity CLI and the Antigravity IDE read one config file, so you set this up once and both pick it up.

#### Step 1: Add the config

Put this in \~/.gemini/config/mcp\_config.json. A headers block is unnecessary, because Streamline supports dynamic client registration and Antigravity discovers the OAuth endpoints on its own.

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "streamline": {
      "serverUrl": "https://public-api.streamlinehq.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### Step 2: Authenticate

Open Agent Settings, go to the Customizations tab, and click Authenticate next to streamline. Sign in, then copy the authorization code back into the settings panel and click Submit.

### Others

Most MCP-compatible clients accept a JSON configuration block. Streamline supports dynamic client registration, so there are no client credentials to configure.

#### Step 1: Add the configuration

The first time the client connects it opens your browser to sign in and authorize access.

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "streamlineMCPServer": {
      "name": "Streamline MCP Server",
      "url": "https://public-api.streamlinehq.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### Step 2: Use an API key if the client has no OAuth

Add your Streamline API key as a header instead, replacing YOUR\_API\_KEY\_HERE.

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "streamlineMCPServer": {
      "name": "Streamline MCP Server",
      "url": "https://public-api.streamlinehq.com/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "X-API-Key": "YOUR_API_KEY_HERE"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

To confirm any of them connected, ask your tool to search for a dog icon. The results should come back from Streamline.

## Tabler Through The Streamline MCP

Tabler is a free and open source icon set, made by Paweł Kuna. Streamline hosts it, and the MCP searches it from inside the tool you are already working in.

Setup is a single block to paste, then a browser sign-in. Because the server is hosted, the tool list stays current on Streamline's side and nothing needs installing locally.

## Depth Over Breadth

We go deep. Streamline builds massive, complete icon sets designed to cover every use case you'll ever need.

You won't discover a gap, then end up drawing the icons yourself or mixing sets that never quite match. The sets don't compete. They add up to one coherent library that respects your time.

## Proudly Independent

Streamline is profitable and independent. We build only for our customers.

Over the last sixteen years we have watched many competitors launch icon sets, then disappear. Most of those sets were never expanded or maintained. We are here for the long term.

## Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about using Tabler icons through an MCP.

### What is the Tabler Icons MCP?

The Tabler Icons MCP is Streamline's MCP server, which serves Tabler along with every other set it hosts. One MCP covers Tabler and the rest of the library alongside it.

### How do I connect it?

Pick your tool in the steps above and paste the block it gives you, then sign in through the browser. The same instructions live on [streamlinehq.com/mcp](https://www.streamlinehq.com/mcp).

### How many Tabler icons are there?

5,288, free, in one line style. Tabler is made and maintained by Paweł Kuna at [tabler.io/icons](https://tabler.io/icons).

### Is Tabler free to use?

Yes. Tabler is open source and free on Streamline. Each open-source set follows its own license, so check Tabler's before shipping commercially.

### What formats and sizes come back?

SVG or PNG, at any size from 1 to 4096 pixels. Colours, a background colour and a stroke width all ride along with the request.

### Can I reach other sets on the same MCP?

Yes. Drop the set from the prompt and the search widens to Core, Flex, Sharp and Plump on the same MCP.

### Can I connect other icon sets the same way?

Yes. The same server reaches every set Streamline hosts. See [the icons MCP page](/icons-mcp.md) for the full picture.
